I built the back-end platform for Equinox's Pursuit cycling app using Redis, AWS, S3, and C#.

At Caserta Concepts, I implement cloud-based, global EDWs on high-performance data warehousing appliances as well as experimental application development using Big Data technologies, including Cassandra, Storm, MongoDB, and Solr, using Java, Python, Javascript, or really any other technology that will solve our client's business problems.

Advise Technologies is the industry leader in regulatory compliance software for the hedge fund industry. The Consensus RMS solution is the most widely used and sophisticated regulatory filing engine available. My role in the product was the development of a calculation engine, a solution that modeled large ($150M+ in AUM) hedge funds, their trades, their holdings, their investors, and the counterparties to derivative, option, or tri-party repo trades. From this model, the calculation engine was able to answer the most time-consuming questions of the FormPF filing, a process that can save the average large hedge fund approximate 8000 person-hours per year in time (according to SEC estimates).

At Longtail Video, I ran and enhanced the Longtail AdSolution, an award-winning video ad server that allowed publishers self-service access to the ability to monetize their video content. During my tenure, I guided the platform to scale from 6 million to 26 million ads delivered per day as revenue increased from $700K to approximately $3 million per year.

I ran the business systems at Equinox, and was responsible for all aspects of technology systems that the business used including HR, payroll, business intelligences, and HR. This included identifying cost-savings opportunities, securing funding and staff for projects, technology architecture, and program/project management. My strengths were understanding the people and processes that Equinox had in place and helping them understand how technology could allow them to get more work done with less effort. I worked closely with both the business managers and IT department and had to understand how both groups functioned and operated.

As Directory of Technology of Flightpath, I was tasked with growing and developing a high-performing team of technology professionals from 2 people to 7 FTEs + 1 consultant as well as guiding the team as the company repurposed itself from a pure technology provider into a world-class digital agency. In addition, as the director I was responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and technology partners and I was the chief architect for all solutions we delivered.

As a consultant, I was responsible for the architecture and construction of several internet applications. My specialty was in data-intensive, highly analytic web services that collected, aggregated, and processed marketing data points. The applications used Sharepoint and SQL Server for the data storage and display, and .NET/C# for the machine learning algorithms.

At IGCN, I was a senior web applications developer, and handled the most difficult and challenging technical tasks that the company and our clients had. Highlights of my time here included a payroll application that met all state and federal tax-compliance standards and drives the majority of payrolls in Pennsylvania, an XML web service that integrated every school in Pennsylvania with the Department of Education and has enabled 1.4 million teachers over 10 years to submit and certify their continuing education credits, and a content management system that allowed IGCN to transition from a technology solutions provider into one of the first technology product development companies in Pennsylvania.
