This was a major national testing programme that at its height employed over 600 staff at 42 nationwide sites providing testing services for hauliers and commercial drivers at major transport hubs. In addition to responsibilities for the Haulier Coronavirus Testing Programme, also deployed as the operations manager of the WH residential security teams deployed in support of a major 2021 international sporting event. This was a major security project that required the daily deployment of over 100 staff to residential locations over a two-week period.

Responsible for providing the full range of security and operational support functions required by the National Democratic Institute’s mission in Libya. Tasks range from; briefing Senior NDI staff in Washington Head Office on security matters, to managing the security and logistical aspects of major in-country events and conferences. Successfully managed the security and logistical aspects of three major withdrawals and re-insertions of the NDI Ex-Pat staff to Libya, in light of both; deteriorating security situations, and specific security threats.

Held the position of Operations & Development Manager for Sicuro Group Libya, part of the Sicuro Group/SWME group of companies. Sicuro Group Libya, specialised in the delivery of an integrated and complimentary suite of; tracking and telecommunications solutions within Libya.

Worked with Ultralinks International, and other international companies to provide; finance and project management options, for a wide range of governmental and commercial projects, aimed at assisting with the economic and social development of Libya, and the North African Region. Also deployed to Benghazi as the Safety Advisor for Al Jazeera English to cover the 2012 election.

Managed the Hotel’s security during the period when the hotel’s owners took back operational control of the site. This task involved liaising with the Tripoli Revolutionary Brigade (TRB) and Military Transitional Council units deployed at the site to ensure that their presence was reduced to a level that allowed commercial operations to resume at the hotel. Key components of this task were overseeing and negotiating the deployment of an unarmed Civilian Guard Force and ensuring that the civilian and TRB assets deployed at the site operated as a unified security team.During this period awarded Certificate of Honouring, by the Libyan authorities, for security and mentoring work in Libya during the revolution, and the initial period of reconstruction.

As the crisis in Libya took hold the company halted its training operations and took on the role of helping international companies evacuate their Expat staff from Libya. During February 2011, personally led the evacuation of 272 International staff and families.
