Leading a team of IT specialists working primarily on the Welsh governments Ancillary Works Framework Contract under which I was responsible for the project management, design and implementation of a wide range of multi-skilled ITS projects. These have totalled in excess of one million pounds of project work over a four year period, with a focus on Innovation and a keen interest in providing best value and environmentally aware solutions.As a certified VMware professional I have also worked on the clients Regional Maintenance Contract as part of a specialist IT team where we perform upgrade and maintenance works on their VMware infrastructure. Additionally I provided support to the maintenance staff with diagnostic and fault rectification on many of the clients systems. My experience has been gained from direct involvement in these systems over the last two decades. Systems include SCADA based signing and environmental monitoring systems, CCTV control systems, Cisco, VMware and SAN based infrastructure.Internally within ERH, I was a key member of the organisations IT steering committee and was responsible for the modernisation and virtualisation of the organisations entire IT asset from concept to implementation by designing and implementing a new Windows Server 2008 domain infrastructure spanning three office locations.

Tasked with IT and projects delivery at Traffic Wales. A key leader in the adoption of VMware virtualisation within the Traffic Wales environment having introduced the first VMware host servers in 2008. Responsible for the initial implementation of the Welsh Governments Traffic Wales Cisco WAN in North Wales.

Working as part of a dedicated engineering maintenance team on the Welsh Governments ITS assets in North Wales. This contract was the forerunner to the all Wales Regional Maintenance Contract. My role included the maintenance of CCTV, Variable Message Signing Systems (VMSS), Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Emergency Telephone Systems (ETS) and Network and fibre assets. The role also included software development works which included roadside sign testing and UPS monitoring systems.
