Customers access products through a number of different channels such as online, at exhibitions/conferences, through magazines and via app and mobile technology. Responsible for delivering complex projects, new products and product enhancements with multiple stakeholders working with an offshore development team. Running the entire project life cycle including gathering business requirements and translating these functional specifications for development teams to implement. Facilitating testing sessions alongside the testing team and project stakeholders, writing test scripts and ensuring bugs are logged in a clear and concise manner, helping to resolve any conflicts or issues arising from them.

I was promoted to Team Leader in 2007 accountable for five permanent web production staff and up to four additional contactors. Worked with individual brands to help maintain, develop and evolve their web presence. I worked on implementing a new in-house web based ticketing system to improve workflow processes and reporting across the web production team.

In my role as a web producer, I managed three of the company’s websites including the flagship brand Investment Week. Working alongside sales, marketing and editorial to produce the number one daily news portal for independent financial advisers IFAonline.co.uk (now ProfessionalAdviser.com).

I was initially recruited to update the company’s website and produce monthly HTML newsletters that were sent to the associate community. Part of a team of developers who designed a content management solution for a client in the aviation industry using ShadoMX and Coldfusion. My role within the company evolved and I was responsible for the set-up of the company network and maintaining the internal IT systems, providing desktop support for both on-site and remote workers. I was also responsible for maintaining, organising and securing a software library and license distribution.

Working as a web developer for JustScooter.com in conjunction with my final year university project. My responsibilities included designing, developing, marketing and maintaining the company website.
