John Hore is a Project Manager - PMP and Agile certified at Ryman Healthcare. He possess expertise in team leadership, business analysis, cisco technologies, telecommunications, customer service and 24 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "The majority of digital technology in our retail stores is leased to those member stores. This provides benefits across lifecycle management, supportability and price. John has for the past decade been our “engine room” in managing our multi-million dollar per annum refurbishment programmes. The analogy I offer is that of painting the Auckland harbour bridge. When the painting is finished, it’s time to start again, only an extra lane has been added on each side (reflecting the expansion of digital technology in our stores to further support the digital revolution). Throughout managing our refurbishment programmes over the years, John has demonstrated strong structure, attention to detail, and accuracy to maintain the financial integrity of a very sizable fixed asset register. John has introduced several continuous improvement initiatives over the years. John has also “rolled his sleeves up” to categorise and prepare pallets of end-of-life equipment for electronic recycling/disposal. In addition to John’s core role, he has also taken on a number of other projects, in particular several relating to staged store renovations. Some of these entailed structural changes (walls, floors & ceiling) whilst the store continued to trade. This required relocations of the likes of POS lanes and their associated power and data services. John is well respected in this capacity and has frequently contributed valuable perspectives from his broad DIY background and analytical mindset. John is good “old school”.
