From June 2002 – December 2003 I left England to commence my travels around the World, starting in Thailand, travelling through to Malaysia and Singapore, before flying onto Bali and then Australia. I spent a full year in Australia, travelling and working. I initially travelled all around Western Australia, Northern Territory, East Coast and parts of Victoria. I then based myself in Sydney for around 7 months, working mainly, with several trips made to Melbourne and 3 weeks taken out to travel the South Island of New Zealand. On the way back from Australia to England, I also got to see more of Indonesia, Thailand, and then travelled through Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.

• Assisting a specialist health information company providing data analysis and software solutions for the costing of health service activity;• Worked on various projects including “NSW Peer Hospital Benchmarking Project”, which involved helping to provide advice and statistical analysis of selected cost drivers of acute inpatient services within peer groups.
