My journey, marked by a childhood travelling as a US Navy dependent, has been a mosaic of ever-changing landscapes and cultures. This unique upbringing took me from the vibrant shores of the Philippines to the rugged beauty of Newfoundland, Canada, and the historic milieu of England. It also led me across the diverse expanse of the United States — from California's innovation centers to Washington's lush forests, Colorado's towering peaks, Missouri's heartland, Maine's tranquil coastlines, and Georgia's rich heritage.Growing up in a military family instilled in me an early appreciation for diverse cultures and geographies. Being raised by a scientific minded physician instilled a strong investigative curiosity into learning. This ever-moving lifestyle was the catalyst for my passion for geography, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Sciences from Kennesaw State University.In my role as Senior IT Project Manager and Consultant Manager at Rizing Geospatial, I channel this wealth of geographical and cultural exposure into my project management and leadership style. Influenced by servant leadership principles, my approach is enriched by the adaptability, resilience, and cultural sensitivity honed from my nomadic childhood. I am committed to fostering these qualities within my team and in our work with clients.My leadership and project management ethos are grounded in ten core characteristics: listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, commitment to the growth of people, and community building.
