Monitor every process under my supervision with affected team member to encourage kaizen (continuous improvement) and create a sense of ownership in each team members job duties. Led weekly safety meetings with team. Approached safety from my Dupont safety S.T.O.P for supervision training certification that promotes the idea of a supervisor’s responsibility of our teams’ safety. There were 16 recordable accidents my first year employed and only one my last year. Perform necessary disciplinary actions with written warnings and counseling up to separation of employment when unavoidable. Conducted thorough accident investigation when necessary including a root cause analysis that answered the 5 why’s.Developed, implemented and monitored standardized work for each process under my supervision including my own. Monitored and recorded white board #’s hourly and added to management KPI (Key Performance Indicator) board at the end of each shift, with the help of my Lean people. Attended morning meeting everyday with all managers at the KPI board to discuss previous days production, safety quality and maintenance progress including bottle necks and other issues. Coordinated Preventive maintenance on CNC machines with maintenance and machinist. Attended Supervisor training course at vocational school.
