Having completed a BA degree in Accounting and Finance, the modules that covered Business Management and Leadership, Data Analysis, Ethics and Strategic Planning were of particular interest leading to a desire for a career in business rather than following a career in accountancy.A broad spectrum of customer facing work experience has developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an appreciation of customer service. Working as a Data Analyst in a high-pressure environment required attention to detail and the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a variety of people in, sometimes, difficult situations. Combining work and study has developed strong time-management and organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and deliver results. Living, studying and working overseas has built resilience, adaptability, cultural sensitivity and the ability to perform in a changing environment.Playing club football since 2001 has developed competitiveness and leadership skills, especially when Captain, whilst providing coaching and mentoring to new or junior players has taught team building.A role which will allow the development of new skills, interaction with a wide range of people and fresh challenges would provide an ideal introduction to the business world.
