Helping to design build and test a satellite launch system using Green Launch technology. Green Launch uses ground based hydrogen impulse launchers to launch rockets. The launcher supplies 4 to 6 km/s velocity. The rockets can then supply the 3 to 5 km/s velocity required to circularize the orbit. This has multiple benefits including:1) Much lower carbon emissions since we don't need a lower rocket stage2) Much lower satellite or supply delivery cost approaching $100/lb since we amortize the launcher3) Fast turnaround and launch on demand for satellites and supplies4) Potentially use solar, or nuclear or other renewable power to supply the launcher energy4) Capture and reuse the hydrogen. This vastly reduces satellite delivery costs in the case of a lunar or mars based system.

Was part of DARPA project to protect soldiers in Iraq from IEDs. Our group designed and tested the add-on kits for 5 ton trucks. Subsequently was part of a 2 man team and later a 4 man team that trained soldiers to install the kits
