Ednovate (www.ednovate.org) currently operating a network of high-performing high schools, providing college-prep, tuition-free education, with a focus on first-generation, college-bound high schoolers across Southern California. Core responsibilities included leading facilities financing efforts; due diligence and feasibility of site acquisitions and development; manage project financing and lender reporting needs; and supporting the organization wide budgeting process each spring.

Newsong (www.newsong.net) is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic congregation of approximately 1,000 attendees. As the COO and CFO, oversaw management of day-to-day business and fiscal affairs and collaborated with the Board, staff, volunteers, congregation members, and the community to achieve the church’s mission. Ensured that staff and volunteers were supported with financial and strategic resources necessary for them to achieve their ministry objectives. Xealots, the leadership development ministry of Newsong's founding pastor, exists to help the next generation of creatives, innovators, and activists discover their destiny and equip them to create transformative change. Core charge was to improve internal organization processes and infrastructure, allowing Xealots’ continued growth and mission through managing the organization's operations, human resources, and fiscal resources.

BuzzMob was a disruptive educational technology company that provided a simple, but comprehensive social networking and communication platform for teachers and parents. As a member of the founding team, assumed a strategic role in the overall management with primary day-to-day responsibility for the financial, HR, fundraising, and legal activities, including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships as well as partnership compliance and private and institutional financing. Led successful funding rounds at seed, Series A, and SAFE stages with total raise of approximately $3.5MM.
