I would say I am an out of the box problem solver both in my professional and personal life.My skill set has been developed to solve some problem. I am a classic car fan and many of my skills were developed to keep my old cars on the road. Machining, welding and fabrication have been invaluable. If a part was not available or vastly expensive I would figure out how to make one. This obviously carries over well to a production environment. In my current position I am regularlycalled upon to design and fabricate apparatus to improve production and safety. In contrast, I am also a musician and wood carver. Different game, similar approach. How to shape the wood to the desired form with the tools I have. How to get the bassline to fit well with the band. Not too complex nor simple. I enjoy work that provides the challenges I enjoy, recognizes my successes, develops more skills and provides opportunities for advancement.
