Primary responsibilities are managing and directing the firm’s research efforts, including oversight of the asset allocation framework as well as the proprietary research process. Mr. Ingram focuses on building thoughtful, diversified portfolios that strive to build clients’ wealth over the long term. Qualitative and quantitative factors are used in the asset allocation process to provide results that are consistent with client's goals, objectives and tax situation.

I joined Choate Investment Advisors in 2004 as a Portfolio Manager, managing over 200 accounts for families and trusts. As a member of the investment committee, I was responsible for conducting asset class research on US large cap stocks, US small cap stocks, private equity, currency markets and frontier markets - Middle East, North Africa and emerging Europe. I was part of the team responsible for the quantitative modeling of Choate Investment Advisor’s asset allocation process, spearheading other technical projects like modeling, performance attribution, trading software and Monte Carlo simulations for wealth forecasting.
