Responsible for the Maintenance of three value streams. Duties include driveing OEE, CI and Safety whilst managing budgets and 11 direct reports.

• Responsible for the Safety and Reliability of the Entire Market Drayton factory infrastructure (current replacement value £200million). Infrastructure includes Building Maintenance, FLT Maintenance (120 in house vehicles), and Electrical services (8 Sub stations 12 MW), Drinking water and sanitation.• Responsible for all statutory compliance, to legislation (PUWER, LOLER, Pressure Regs, EAWR)• Annual Repairs and Maintenance budget £1million Reporting to Head of Engineering.• In charge of budgetary monitoring, reporting and directly supporting the management of total Engineering spend (approx £17million) for the Head of Engineering. • Reports – 1 Engineering services Manager. 1 Site Electrical Duty holder and 5 Craft reports. • Currently driving and implementing Engineering services ‘Best Practice’ programme. • Revenue and Labour Spend Reduced by £110,000 (2009-2010)• Direct management of capital projects typically £100K• Implemented New Health and Safety cultural change covering Site Access, Contractor Control and Safe Systems of work for the whole of the Market Drayton Facility• Currently implementing SSOW (safe systems of work) within the production facility for machine operatives covering 400 + employees• Recently seconded to cover the Occupational Health and Safety managers as a new manager was recruited. This was a site wide commitment with the full responsibilities associated with this position along with still managing my existing department.
