John became known for developing the ‘never before seen’ attractions with a key emphasis on experience and community, but with Managing Mayhem shows selling out, John became frustrated how his audience was limited to the size of the space.It was at this point he took the decision to acquire content production company Front Lawn Films, to launch Media Mayhem. A brand-new entity that continued the heavily successful live shows that John cut his teeth with, as well as entering the rapidly expanding content marketplace.Since inception Media Mayhem has worked with key brands such as Qantas, Beko, 2K, Johnnie Walker. John’s first company, Managing Mayhem, notably produced all of Katie Mitchell’s live cinema shows across Europe including ‘The Forbidden Zone’ that opened the Salzburg Opera Festival whilst being broadcast live to cinemas in the UK. Moving into experiential London events, for two years running Mayhem was named by Timeout Magazine for producing two of ‘the top ten events of the summer’.Seeking a move to the screen, John added television to his portfolio, with Mayhem producing the ‘People’s Award Stage’ for ITV for 4 years running, along with 5 years of production management of Dave’s One Night Stand for the UKTV network. Mayhem were then selected as one of the production companies to create the closing ceremony of the Olympics in 2012.
