I am a retired federal law enforcement agent with over thirty years of service. I am presently a detective for the City of Doral, Florida Police Department specializing in fraud, economic crimes and high end thefts.I presently sit on the Federal Magistrate Judge Selection Committee for the Federal Southern District of Florida.I am also a Financial Adviser and Registered Investment Adviser with PFS investments in the South Florida area. I focus on working with members of the public safety community at the local, state and federal level to help them achieve their financial goals. I am also the father of a son with special needs who is autistic. I know the difficult challenges of raising a child with special needs and the financial difficulties associated with ensuring they are receiving the best care and education. I work with special needs families to help them achieve their financial goals for them and their special needs children.I am also an adjunct professor at local South Florida Universities and online institutions where I specialize in forensic accounting, white collar crime, general criminal justice, homeland security issues, emergency management and business courses. I am a licensed private investigator and served as Vice President of Investigative Management Group (Miami) from 2013 through 2015. I specialized in financial investigations regarding asset valuation and high net worth divorce cases.I started my career working on Wall Street where I worked for the former Bache, Halsey, Stuart and Shields and the American Stock Exchange. I then moved on to a career in federal law enforcement working for the (FBI) Federal Bureau of Investigation, (IRS) Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division, The U.S. Customs Service and the newly created Department of Homeland Security. I specialized in financial investigations such as tax evasion and money laundering.
