Work with the PMOs, ETI and application teams to move 15 applications on 255 servers to a new data center in preparation for decommissioning the old server.• Manage the infrastructure demand and builds for the Equipment Finance application migration to new data centers. Production & Infrastructure Support Manager for the Global Human Resources and Corporate Services and Security departments of Morgan Stanley. This includes supporting over 160 applications, 300 servers and 1000 databases. • My team won the Production Management Center of Escellence Ownership and Process Excellence awards in 2015.• Built a global production support team of 50 people (22 had a direct or indirect reporting relationship with me) in support of approximately 85 HR applications. This team provided 24 x 5 coverage and on-call coverage over the weekend.• Consolidated and decommissioned the Human Resources infrastructure to the use of Virtual Machines and more powerful database servers saving the department $1.25 million dollars in Infrastructure costs since January 2015.• Successfully managed the infrastructure build and data feeds to Morgan Stanley for the Workday migration. • Successfully managed the migration of approximately 100 HR and Corporate Security applications in the Morgan Stanley data center consolidation project with 0 downtime.• Coordinated the implementation and connectivity to multiple HR Saas Services (Taleo, Cornerstone on Demand, Carco).• Successfully managed the infrastructure and installation/upgrade of the Cipher Cloud application to encrypt the data residing at Salesforce.com.• Successfully managed the installation/upgrades of the Workbrain Time Keeping System for the Payroll Department.• Coordinated the Risk and Hygiene program for the HR and Corporate Services IT departments. Reduced the number of identified risk items by 90% in 2015 as compared to the firm’s stated goal of 65%.• Improved the uptime of the critical Apogee application to 99% from approximately 65%. Procedures were put in place to bring the system up within an hour of any incident.
