Prevent supplier quality defects using a Pre-Production Approval Process (PPAP). • Review Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new products/processes• Compare First Article Inspection data to design engineering requirements. • Review and approve material certifications, weld procedures, and test results to verify parts are conforming to design• Manage and track the use of sample parts through manufacturing facility Support GE factories by responding to defective material received from suppliers. • Identify and Contain all defective material• Manage the replacement of defective material to prevent production delays• Drive Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action with the suppliers

• Identified and evaluated options associated with replacing dated pipelines with new, high capacity pipelines, from an operational and developmental approach• Analyzed current blanket contractor bidding structure using Excel and proposed new bidding structures to reduce contract discrepancies• Tested the compliance of 40-50 distribution gas regulators • Reviewed the maximum allowable operating pressure of pipe systems across Pennsylvania and New York to ensure safe and permissible pipeline operation

• Monitored four solar panel arrays using a data acquisition system• Analyzed data taken from these arrays to compare the different solar technologies• Classified arrays as the “best” based on performance, economics, and environmental benefit.
