A proven track record of leading and managing teams in both a scientific research and engineering environment to deliver products from early concept to commercialization along with the successful completion of technical transfers in both R & D and manufacturing environments.In the area of innovation for new product discovery and development I have received 13 U.S patents and patent applications some resulting in commercial products.My strong technical background in polymers, chemistry and material science along with proven project management, team leading, process improvement, problem solving and engineering skills sets me up for success in delivering results. As a Principal Material Scientist/Project Manager at Medtronic I have successfully transferred multiple products and set up new areas to produce these materials. I have also been responsible for managing the production of multiple specialty materials required for medical device products.I currently support global teams, working on investigations related to material and process production issues.
