Over 50 years Blenheim developed a reputation for developing evidence based practice and an ethos of telling truth to power. Much of what became best practice in the sector was developed by Blenheim . The organisation is now part of Humankind following a merger in 2019

Responsible for developing and implementing the organisations development strategy to ensure it's growth and long term future within it's operatiing enviroment. Suceeded in developing KCA (UK) from a Kent based organisation to one operating across London and the South East

Responsible for the strategic co-ordination of all organisations across Kent to tackle drug and alcohol misuse, working to a committee of chief executives including CEO's of two Health Authorities, Director of Social Services, Education,Probation, Prison Governors and the Chief Constable. Sucessfully bought in £7million in additional funding and established Kent Initiative on Drugs partnership.

Managed a probation hostel specialising in high risk offenders including sex offenders and those on life licence. Managed a team of probation officers dealing with a wide range of high risk and prolific offenders.. Kent Probation lead on drugs and alcohol.

Supervised a range of high risk offenders focusing on sex offenders and those with drug and alcohol problems. Ran a wide range of groups for offenders.

Responsible for all advice services, fundraising, training and media management. Developed Release drugs leaflets and publications growing it from a £2000 turnover to over £100,000. Developed Release into a significant policy and support agency for the emerging drugs field whilst continuing to deliver day to day support for those arrested or experiencing problems with a wide range of drugs. During the late 1980's I was the leading expert in the sector on ecstasy. Ran the organisation as Acting Director whilst the Director was on sabbatical for a year 1989/90.
