- Senior Project Engineer on £10m high-hazard handling equipment design project. Client-facing role reporting to senior project manager.Implementation of project controls, change control, risk management and subcontractor management of design/manufacture supply chain.

- Project Engineer on £25m building design project. Client-facing role reporting to senior project manager, with responsibility for tracking deliverables, programme status, cost and resource control, variation control and generic project reporting.- Project Engineer on £1m building rekit project. Predominantly assigned to variation control, but also liaising with commercial and procurement functions for project close-out phase. - Project Manager for small projects (circa £50k individual values) from bid stage to project close-out.- Project Engineer on £500k rekit design project. Implemented new cost gathering mechanism which led to improved cost control and brought suitable visibility to spending and thus enabled the project to achieve its financial targets.- Interim support to project bids, including technical specification author, risk reviews, contractor quotations, planning improvement workshops and quality compliance analysis.- Tendering (bids of various contracting methods, values, and work types)

- Project lead for high-hazard material transfer project. Generation of contingency schedules and implementation of risk avoidance strategies. Chaired weekly project review meetings. Original programme was 18 months in duration. This was reviewed and personally rescheduled to 12 months then managed to meet key milestones. The programme was achieved on-time and safely.- Lead planner for 5yr Periodic Review of Safety (PRS) programme- Lead planner for research and recycling high-hazard facilities. Detail production planning and deconfliction of research and diverse processing operations in a high-hazard multi-discipline facility. Long-term strategic planning for associated projects.

- Project lead for reinstating fire testing capability. Managed project from concept to handover.- Design engineer utilising Solidworks 3D and 2D modelling capability for submarine valve systems.

Day-release college alongside three-month company placements.Jan 05 – Apr 05 – Project Team – Junior project manager for introduction of EU4-compliant petrol and diesel engines. Responsibility included package reviews, build meetings and BUCK reviews.Oct 04 – Dec 04 – Launch Management – Co-ordination of Rover 75 and MG V8 build meetings. Developed significant use of MG Rover Project Management Process.Apr 04 – Sept 04 – Paint Manufacturing Engineering – Quality control monitoring. Supervised new facility installation for loading kit and paint booths.Jan 04 – Mar 04 – Test and Development – Completion of test procedures and accompanying test reports.Oct 03 – Dec 03 – Digital Manufacturing – Use of Catia V4 for 3D vehicle-assistor equipment models. Use of Microstation V8 for accurate facility layouts.July 03 – Sept 03 – Colour Measurement – Use of Spectrophotometer for painted vehicle quality. Supplier training. Designed painted panel jigs.Apr 03 – Jun 03 – Quality Launch – Authored Product Development Certificate (Quality tools and techniques) training course in co-operation with the Technology Innovation Centre, Birmingham.
