Quality Assurance engineer working in project-driven, scrum/agile work environment. Working closely with a team of project managers, software developers, DB developers, and system administrators to develop and refine accurate requirements, create and organize test cases in Azure DevOps system that adequately verify those requirements, and execute test cases thoroughly to assure the quality of the end product. For any software product or hardware system QA performs exhaustive regression, usability, and functional testing as well as maintaining documentation and artifacts for the life cycle of the product. I've developed a few prototypes for some automation testing using Selenium web driver coded in C# using NUnit framework. I've also developed some tests using the 'Automated Test Framework' native to ServiceNow.

Resolving issues ranging from password resets, store outages, firewall and routing issues, software bugs, and feature requests. Aside from operations support, also worked closely with the network engineering, systems administration, and product/software development teams on special projects and assignments. Set up Avigilon security camera systems to be shipped out to various locations.

Hardware and software support of all hospital computers, printers, and other related equipment. Network connectivity and administration duties, as well as database record keeping. Supported Citrix and an array of software applications through it (Cerner, HPF, etc.). Assisted with Active directory management of user accounts and network resources (desktops, laptops, etc.). Support of VPNs and/or web portals for at-home users, tablets & phones to the extent of email support and access to our remote gateway, support of network-connectivity on wired and wireless networks (both public and private). Coordinated with Dell and CDW representatives to provide quotes on hardware and software products required for various hospital units.

Performed a variety of duties in this job, including acquisition of land leases, title analysis of land acquired, and IT office management. In land leasing, I would visit with landowners and inform them about the benefits and details of leasing their land for oil and gas production. Title analysis involved working in Courthouse deed rooms and researching the title history of leased land parcels to determine surface and mineral legal ownership was vested in the current landowner, and the history of that land parcel’s ownership. The IT work performed was varied, but usually involved typical desktop support including troubleshooting of computers, printers, and routers.

Collaborated with a team of technicians, performing routine testing on MLS databases for contracted Real Estate clients for functionality and performance. After a software portal and database was built for the client, my group would run a series of tests on each phase of its development to detect bugs and defects, as well as identify any performance issue it may have, before it was delivered to the client. We also performed testing on any software fixes on existing client platforms, to ensure that they fixed the issue they were intended to fix and did not create problems with any other part of the platform. All steps in these duties were well documented in a ticketing system.
