John K. Conner, Esquire is a former trial lawyer with extensive trial experience having tried criminal and civil cases in Federal and State Courts. John's involvement in the criminal justice system spans over 30 years. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1979 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. From there he entered the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center to become a Special Agent. John was a Special Agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for 11 12 years. As a Special Agent, John conducted federal firearms, explosive and narcotic investigations. He also received special training as an arson investigator and was the lead agent on several arson/fraud investigations conducted by the United States Attorneys Office. He was a member of the National Response Team which was responsible for investigating arsons and explosions throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. During his tenure as a Special Agent, John received four consecutive outstanding service awards while, at the same time, earning a Juris Doctorate Degree from Temple University Law School.In 1990, John resigned from ATF to join the Insurance Fraud Department at the Law Firm of Cozen and O'Connor. While at Cozen and O'Connor, he obtained licenses to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 1995, John left Cozen and O'Conner to start his own law firm focusing primarily on criminal defense. John's experience as a Special Agent for the Federal Government allows him to bring a unique dynamic to protecting the rights of his clients accused of committing crimes. As an Attorney, John tried major criminal cases in Southeastern Pennsylvania and throughout the state of New Jersey. These cases involved diverse crimes such as murder, drug offenses, robbery, theft, burglary, aggravated assault, sexual assault, firearms violations, juvenile offenses, drunk driving and other major felonies.In May 2019, John closed his law practice and in September 2020 became the Program Director for Praise Is The Cure, a non-profit Breast Cancer awareness organization.
