I am a hard-working music producer, sound designer, audio engineer, educator, and entrepreneur with a Masters degree in music performance and many years of experience running my own educational and creative organizations. Over the course of my career as a sound designer, live audio engineer, teacher, and entrepreneur, I have developed the communication skills that students find beneficial and easy to understand when working in both classroom and 1-on-1 settings. After 10+ years of working with Ableton Live, I would consider myself to be an expert. This level of expertise is crucial to my career as a marching band sound designer and private music production instructor, as I regularly find myself working with individuals who are inexperienced in the use of audio software and hardware. Much of this knowledge has come from personal exploration and research, putting me in a position to explain subjects that are often complex and difficult to understand for beginners to grasp in a variety of ways. I have found this helpful in my experience in education, as we all learn differently, and different approaches might be right for different students.
