Started at the Greens Bayou Fabrication Yard in 1978, and in 1979 became youngest named Pipe Mill Manager, the most critical process in the 3000-person fab yard, which included the robotics brace pipe manufacturing plant, during peak of offshore construction in 1980-81 with over 15 large jackets and 15 decks being assembled at one time.
