Responsible for 9 legal entities across EMEA with offices in London, Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Italy, Munich, Luxembourg and Zurich. Manage a team of 11 across 4 countries.• Overseeing all corporate finance matters including; Capital Requirements (e.g. entity ICAAP’s), Taxation, Regulatory Financial Reporting obligations, Statutory Accounting obligations and Financial Governance of all SSGA EMEA entities. Escalation point to Boards and executive management and responsible for providing detailed analysis of any issues with robust and clear action plans for remediation.• Leading the EMEA budget and forecast process. Provision of monthly and quarterly performance updates against plan, trend analysis and forecast updates to the senior business leadership and global CFO and CEO.• Responsibility for the delivery of high quality decision support information and business insights to inform company decision making and strategy.• Active Director of six regulated legal entity Boards, UK and Ireland country Management Committees, the European Operational Risk Committee and European Product Committee. These committees and Boards shape the control environment and strategic direction of the company.

• Responsibility for budget process and forecasting including presentation of key information/trends to CEO and Management Committee.• Provision of strategic financial planning & analysis support to allow measurement of on-going business financial performance, model financial impact of new business initiatives and lead new business pricing. • Responsibility for continually reviewing, enhancing and enforcing the finance department internal control procedures.• Responsibility for all Ireland legal entities’ statutory, regulatory and tax compliance.• Transformation of the local finance model to deliver cost reduction and implementation of an effective offshore low cost finance shared services model. • Monitoring service levels of Shared Service Centre to ensure alignment with agreed SLA. Oversaw escalation and quick resolution of identified issues.• Partnered with corporate IT team to implement a new Oracle financial system.
