Designed, developed and now maintain the PlanARoute app for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. This travel and navigational app assists users in planning and/or recording a multi-step journey using GPS, MapQuest, Google and Apple geographic data. This app was developed using XCode, Objective C, iOS frameworks, Core Data, JSON and Google/MapQuest API's. It has been available for download from the Apple app store since November 2012. Analyzed, designed and developed and supported business intelligence (BI) applications that enabled top management to monitor, analyze, plan and improve the performance of various organizational units within the company. These BI applications extracted historical and current data from data warehouses and compared them to budgeted and forecasted data. These reports were presented through a dashboard and had drill down capability.A second project was a gift card reporting system that was converted from a proprietary technology into WebFOCUS. This reporting system had thousands of users and contained both scheduled batch reports run via Report Caster, as well as online reports with drill-downs presented via a launch page.On these projects, I was responsible for writing the functional and technical specifications as well as developing and supporting the WebFOCUS applications. These tasks involved working with a team of business users and developers in writing the DB2/ SQL, WebFOCUS fexes, FML (for reports requiring inter row/column calculations) Dashboard, HTML and JavaScript that was used in creating the applications.

Analyzed, designed and developed a single complex WebFOCUS report and its launch page for an application that enabled the bank to monitor wire transfers. I was brought into this project since the client was in urgent need for a person who could develop the needed report in a timely manner.

Analyzed, designed and developed an investor reporting system for high net worth families. This system consisted of more than 50 reports and graphs along with their associated launch pages. In this position I was responsible for writing the functional and technical specifications as well as developing the application. These tasks involved working with a team of business users and developers in writing the Sybase/ SQL, ETL, WebFOCUS, Dashboard, Java, JSP, FML (for reports requiring inter row/column calculations), HTML and JavaScript code that was used in creating the application.

Designed and developed reports and launch pages for a data warehouse application. This application produced gift card usage reports for specific retailers who were customers of First Data. This was a conversion from an existing reporting system to WebFOCUS.In this position I was responsible for writing the technical specifications. I was also responsible for working with a team of developers in writing the WebFOCUS, DB2 SQL, HTML, JavaScript and JSP code that was used in developing the application.
