Responsibilities included Installation of cat-5 cabling, mounting and configuration of security cameras, mounting of wireless access points, TV display wall equipment installation and configuration, equipment room rack mount devices removal, installation and configuration. Maintained all paperwork including PO’s, inventory, progress reports, change orders, timesheets, RFI’s, etc. Attended Progress meetings with the GC and customer representatives and maintained a positive working relationship with all involved.

Installation of “triple-play” residential CATV services for Comcast Cable. Maintained truck, tools, timesheets, reports, and supplies. Strong customer service skills and route scheduling abilities required.

Perform collections of disconnected cable equipment. Maintain invoices and reports using Microsoft Excel Outlook, and Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Map out and follow stops on routes using Microsoft Streets and Trips, and GPS. Upload reports via email using cellular internet connection. Responsible for installing many types of industrial telecom infrastructure including fiber-optic cabling, computer data networks, POTS backbone cabling, CCTV systems, security/fire alarm cabling, nurse call systems and audio speaker/paging systems. Projects included: • Wellpoint, Inc., Indianapolis, IN. Part of an elite group of technicians operating under an extremely tight budget and deadline, maintaining a high quality, clean work environment while remodeling the entire telecommunications infrastructure in occupied offices.• Indianapolis Convention Center. Pulled and terminated copper and fiber backbone and station cable. Built telecommunication rooms and installed racks including grounding and bonding. Worked in confined spaces using Tyvek suits, breathing apparatus and air quality monitoring devices. Worked in extreme aloft conditions on catwalks in the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium. Stayed well over 1 month ahead of schedule on an already fast-tracked project.• Riley Hospital Phase V, Indianapolis, IN. Installed IP nurse call system, IP CCTV system, and terminated/tested data station cables.

Responsible for overseeing and installing/maintaining many types of telecom infrastructure including fiber-optic lines, computer networks (industrial & commercial), VOIP systems, POTS lines, CCTV systems, fire alarm, and audio systems. Projects include: • Foreman subcontracted to ERMCO and Freije, Inc. at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN project. Installed telecommunication racks and rack equipment and terminated 25/50/100 pr. backbone Cat-3, Cat-6 cables and fire alarm devices. • Foreman subcontracted to Miller-Eads at Honda, Greensburg, IN project. Integral in overseeing and installing entire telecommunication package. I personally terminated and fusion spliced the fiber using Leviton FastCam and Corning QuickCam LC connectors, a Fujikura 50 splicer and Leviton fan-out kits. Using a Fluke DTX-1800, I maintained all test results and performed most fiber tests myself. I assisted in oversight and management of the labor force. I was responsible for assembling the entire test completion report submittal package using Fluke Linkware and Adobe Acrobat PDF documentation. • Journeyman Technician subcontracted to Divane Bros. at Indianapolis International Airport. Terminated and tested fiber network using Belden SC connectors, Corning fan-out kits, and Fluke DTX-1800 tester. I also installed Panduit Rack equipment.
