Appointed as “Head of Projects” for the RAK Ports in Jan 2104 which manage 5 Ports on behalf of the Government Ras Al Khaimah. Responsible for the development and delivery of the CAPEX Project portfolio exceeding AED 400 million ($110million). The role is multifaceted and entails the planning and implementing of policies, procedures, practices and strategy. Key aspects are close liaison with other government agencies, consultants, port operations, end user and stakeholders. Major projects worthy of specific mention are:- Saqr Port Expansion (AED 300 million) - 2No. additional deep water berths (-18m ACD) comprises dredging work, construction of a 700-metres long quay wall, as well as stripping an existing breakwater.
