Corbeau Snowsports is the Cincinnati affiliate of the National Brotherhood of Skiers. Began in 1985, it is our organization's mission to promote development of youth for international snow sports competitions among African-American families and other underrepresented groups. In addition, Corbeau strives to build a community of enthusiasts to promote snow sports enjoyment, education, and community service.

Global lead for a proprietary performance improvement system known as Reliability Engineering in P&G. The tools and methodology, sharing similarities with OEE and Lean Six Sigma, are not only utilized internally but also licensed and taught externally in industry. Attaining this role involves gaining a seat with a handful of elite corporate experts in various business units. Responsibilities for Health Care include brands like Metamucil, NyQuil, Crest, and Oral B with over 15 manufacturing sites in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.This role will also involve direct application of production systems modeling (Siemens Plant Sim), computational fluid dynamics (ANSYS), and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Still serving the North America Oral Care business, this assignment marks the completion of a previous special assignment and return to focus on Engineering.Responsibilities:1) Management of the Technical Engineering Delivery for new high speed manufacturing technologies at the Greensboro (Browns Summit) site. These responsibilities include the completion of detailed design and site integration activities, VAT, construction, start-up, and hand-off to Operations.2) Reliability Engineering (RE) Leader for the Site, also including Beauty Care and Customization. RE uses statistical tools to visualize opportunities for improvement, enable the creation of data-based action plans, and developing realistic glidepaths to improve production results. My key focus areas include building both personal and organization capability and mastery while driving results.

This 12 month assignment is aimed at overall Process Improvement in our Greensboro, North Carolina manufacturing plant within the dentifrice (toothpaste) packing operation. There are two primary objectives.1) Eliminate wastes in filling and packing through the application of LEAN methodology and Reliability Engineering approaches (proprietary).2) Improve quality, damage, and scrap for inbound materials (tubes, cartons, and corrugated).In this assignment, I have reporting relationships to Operations, R&D MPD (Materials, Process, and Delivery), and Engineering.This role is part of a three year commitment to serving the Greensboro Browns Summit manufacturing plant. As such, I will be relocating from Cincinnati this summer.This marks my second assignment as a Band 2 Manager at Procter & Gamble.

For the Global One Health Businesses including Oral Care, Pet Care, and Personal Health:1) Develop & test and deploy the Siemens Teamcenter Platform Management solution for plant and equipment design management. This system establishes better control and accessibility over the technical documentation throughout projects and for years after assets are out in service. It allows more flexibility and integrated design across multiple CAD solutions. Most importantly, it provides the framework for change management ensuring platform equipment standards are maintained. 2) Establish global standard technical documentation requirements and work processes. 3) Train the organization in the new solutions and ensure effective, instantaneous start-ups around the globe.*Promoted to Technology Leader February 01, 2014.

In addition to deep technical mastery in multiple technologies (i.e. extrusion blow molding, injection molding, printing and decoration, corrugated, and more), this role required strong leadership, technical writing, and political savvy. I also developed greater presentation skills through multiple reviews with senior leadership, and practiced influencing and establishing overall business priorities and strategies. I delivered over $18 million dollars of cost savings and played a critical role in the launch and market success of several initiatives.Responsibilities: Initiative Delivery, Cost Savings, Supply Assurance, Quality Materials, and Capability Building.In this role: 1) I performed the technical delivery of project initiatives for packaging. 2) I identified, developed, and delivered projects to optimize packages, work processes, and initiatives to exceed key business measures. 3) I developed, maintained, and revised our packaging material performance specifications to meet manufacturing and supply chain requirements ensuring the utmost quality at the shelf and in the hands of our consumers. 4) Assessing and building supplier capability (including systems, processes, and equipment) while also establishing backup continuity plans for our packaging suppliers ensured we were production ready at all times. This also often resulted in cost savings both technical and commercial. This role often required leading cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions to meet production or initiative needs.

Led a multi-disciplined team contracted by National Instruments (NI) to develop a companion solution for a new product launch.• This new product, the NI myDAQ, was a powerful portable data acquisition and testing device (i.e. oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc.) with target consumers in research and STEM education fields.• NI was seeking a low cost test suite to troubleshoot the myDAQ if hardware malfunctions were suspected and to aid the speed and effectiveness of technical support inquiries.• My team consisted of computer hardware, software, electrical, and systems engineers.• Together successfully developed, demonstrated, and delivered a full test suite and supporting hardware ahead of schedule. It could be assembled for under $50 and fully tested all myDAQ capabilities in a user friendly UI.• I personally developed and wrote more than half the code in LabView, designed and rapid-prototyped an enclosure for the hardware/PCB with 3D printing, and coordinated the schedule and deliverables for my team.• Over five years later, this upstream development just prior to the launch of the original myDAQ is still very much in tact as it has now been integrated into the device and its software as a standalone self test.
