Special Agent - Assistant Regional Security Officer

- Responsible for the development, management, and oversight of the Regional Security Office's Emergency Preparedness program. Planned and coordinated numerous drills, tabletop exercises, and hands-on training with Embassy personnel. Topics varied: fire, evacuation, mass-casualty, active threat, complex attack, violent demonstrations, etc. - Primary POC for Diplomatic Security to the Riyadh chapter of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). Promoted security cooperation between the Department of State and U.S. private sector interests in Saudi Arabia. Shared open-source intelligence regarding ongoing threats in the region and advocated for best practices for emergency preparedness and employee accountability during emergencies. - Coordinated several VVIP visits to Riyadh with host nation security and visiting security elements. To include: SECSTATE, Secretary of Treasury, White House Staff, CENTCOM, SECDEF, FBI Director, Secretary of Energy, and others. -The U.S. Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for a $13 million-dollar a year Local Guard Force program covering Dhahran, Riyadh, and Jeddah. - Coordinated in-person all security and logistical efforts with the Jeddah RSO for the long-awaited move of the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah to the New Consulate Compound.- Advocated for and received U.S. grants to apply to security upgrades to the American International School - Riyadh. - Oversaw several additional RSO programs: Marine Security Guards, Host-National Body Guards, Embassy Access Control and Physical Security, RSO Yearly Budget, Surveillance Detection Team, Background Investigations, and Security Violation Investigations.
