Day to day running of the organization and business development.

Preparation of tender documents and contracts. Meeting with vendors and contractors to ensure quantity and item description satisfy the need of the requestor.- Procurement of marketing, promotion material and training services.- Preparing purchase orders for supervisory approval.Checking deliveries and invoices against purchase orders for type, quantity and condition. - Processing bills and invoices from vendors and contractors and prepares payment vouchers.- Meeting with requestors to ensure full understanding of the need and that the proposed purchase will satisfy the need. - Making recommendations to the Procurement Manager for developing or revising internal procurement procedures.- Ensuring the Company complies with the provisions of the Procurement and Disposal Act, 2005. - Nurturing continuous business relationship with local and overseas suppliers. - Assisting the Procurement Manager in negotiation to establish the rate running contracts regarding bulk procurement. - Carrying out effective negotiation on prices, terms of payments and delivery on the basis of comparative statement. - Effectively planning and monitoring purchase in conformance to the specific project requirement within time, cost and quality. - Sourcing and prequalifying potential suppliers as well as developing and maintaining their databank. - Continuously doing market research to source equivalent materials that are less expensive but conform to the specifications that should be acceptable to the customers.
