My goal is to return stories and histories to the people who should own them.I have collaborated with American Indian tribes, with historical and preservation organizations, and with researchers to do public history well. I have done this by doing thorough research, by listening, by telling complex cultural narratives fairly and in a culturally sensitive way, and by creating visual and audio resources that make content accessible. I have more than 30 years of higher education experience, and taught American Indian History and Cultures at the college level for 19 years. I have had varied political and organization experiences, having served as Historical Consultant, Tribal Consultant, and Board Member. I have considerable experience in media and video production.
