After 26 years as a practicing attorney, I transitioned careers in 2017 and became a high school speech and debate coach. I love helping young people find they have a voice, which is what forensics is all about! So far, my students have earned 19 slots at the NSDA National Tournament, including a speech National Finalist in 2020, and a PF team that broke into elim rounds in 2021. I am TEA certified in Social Studies 7-12 as well as in Speech. I have a law degree from Columbia University, and have taught honors-level courses in Government, Economics, Psychology, and Civil Rights.
