I have been working in firmware development at Datacard Group since 4/4/11.I have worked on large complex software systems, as well as smaller, simpler systems, with many diverse hardware requirements and interfaces and with soft and hard real-time requirements. I have worked with PID control systems, FPGA interfaces, image recognition algorithms, and many types of input sensors. I have been the software project lead on quite a number of projects reporting to project managers and keeping the software progress in line with the development schedules. The focus at ColorSpan was on wide-format printing and at Datacard the focus is card printers (plus all the attendant security features).Specialties: I have worked with the Nucleus and Integrity embedded operating systems and now Linux. My primary languages are C, C++ and Assembler.
