I have 32 plus years of progressive law enforcement experience at the local, state and federal levels. September 11th, 2001, changed the way we all do business in the United States. At that time, I was chosen to create and command our Homeland Security Unit. I was assigned to the FDLE, Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force and then to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. I devoted myself to understanding the mindset of terrorist groups that would attempt to do us harm. I am certified in multiple vulnerability/threat/risk assessment programs and worked with a small group who provided the assessments for the critical infrastructure in the communities we worked and lived. I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy Class 232 and also the Inaugural U.S. Immigration Academy, 287g program, 2003. Through these I have developed extensive working relationships with agencies throughout Florida, United States and abroad. I have excellent communication skills and have an aptitude for attention to detail. My strategic and analytic thought processes have allowed me to be able to scan ever-changing, complex environments in anticipation of emerging crises, trends and opportunities.Since 2003, I have had the pleasure of instructing thousands of police officers, school administrators and emergency response personnel as it applies to domestic and international terrorism, soft target analysis and behavior identification. I have worked with school districts, safety organizations, businesses, churches and synagogues across the United States,. I have been blessed to provided input on building designs for safer schools, churches/synagogues and business environments. It is my mission to help guide my clients in evaluating their current security posture and process and work with them to develop a plan to improve their physical security and their security practices.
