I am a undergraduate from American Military University with a B.A in Information Technology focusing on software development. I have served 10 honorable years in both the U.S Army as a Patriot Missile Operator, and in the U.S Air force as an F-16 Aircraft Technican and I.T Systems Specialist. Throughout my time as a Systems Specialist I took on many projects to include but not limited to setting up a Windows Deployment Server, deploying a Security Information and Event Management solution (EventTracker) and automated management of network vulnerabilities with tools like Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Alongside these projects I also maintained various administrative services including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-v, Group Policy and many others. I also took it upon myself to build a lab environment at home in order to continue diving into my passion and continue my learning. In the lab, I practice all of the above and more. For instance, one week in the lab may consist of developing a PowerShell script to automate the employee onboard process, and the next week may be automating VM deployment using ansible and bash.As a veteran of the Armed Forces and spending 10 years dedicated to the service, I have learned a lot about communicating and working effectively as a team. I also pride my self in my ability to work independently. I am a hard worker who is dedicated to his craft. I am always looking to improve upon myself due to my love for learning in and outside of a professional setting.
