Responsible for Maintenance & Operations of Educational facilities to support 60,000+ students and 7,500 staff members throughout Volusia County.

Responsible for Maintenance Department supporting 70+ school campuses and support facilities.

Diversified role in ever-changing industry of Facility Management. Custodial Contract Manager for nearly 10 Million Sq Ft within 80 Campuses, Grounds Contract Manager for over 50 Million Sq Ft. Versed in drinking water/wastewater management, asbestos remediation, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. Hazardous Waste management including storage and removal. Oversees Radon sampling and remediation. Responsible for on-call duty for emergencies and disaster response/management. Knowledge of Storage tanks. Uses computerized maintenance management systems for work order tracking, reporting, analysis, budget management and inventory control. Ability to analyze, interpret and report data. Comfortable speaking to a diverse audience. Works closely with supervisors to mentor, train, and build on strengths and weaknesses to increase the team’s effectiveness. Provides Contract Management throughout all phases; inception, bid, award, management, and termination. Reads blueprints, schematics, written diagrams and other maintenance documents for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and renovation. Works as part of leadership team, currently at Administrator level in Organization. Participates in emergency management and disaster clean-up as required.Oversees Automotive Fleet Department by providing management for 200+ service vehicles and garbage and recycling program. Oversees Facility Services warehouse operations (receiving, storage, delivery) and Asset Management. Manager for service contracts including: Pest Control, Automotive Service & vehicle purchasing, Wastewater treatment, IAQ sampling and remediation, HVAC/R maintenance & controls and Building Security & Entry Automation.

Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and trade craftsman assigned to school based maintenance teams, mobile maintenance teams and maintenance hubs. Orchestrates preventative, reoccurring, and emergency maintenance for Volusia County's educational facilities comprising of 82 schools, warehouses, transportation hubs and administrative buildings encompassing more than 10 million square feet of interior building space.

Responsible for 8,000+ Military Family Housing units housing military service members from all branches. Led a team of 35 inspectors across 7 installations. Single point for all General Officer Homes island-wide. Certified Contracting Officer Representative for two multimillion dollar service contracts.

Inspector for 1,000+ units housing USMC, USAF, USA, and USN military members living on two installations. Single point of contact for all senior officers and General Officer Homes.

Performed various flightline duties spanning nearly 22 years. Titles included: Aircraft Maintenance Team Member, Dedicated Aircraft Crew Chief, Flightline Expediter, Maintenance & Scheduling Coordinator, Maintenance Operations Center NCOIC, Production Superintendent, and Maintenance Superintendent. Airframes worked include: B-52, C-5, KC-135, C-130 and KC-10.
