I oversee photography and social media content for the Polaris Program, a human spaceflight initiative and partnership with SpaceX that will culminate in the first crewed launch and landing of Starship. The program’s first mission, Polaris Dawn, took place from September 10-15, 2024. www.polarisprogram.comI have been fortunate to travel worldwide with the Polaris Dawn crew to extensively document and share training milestones and other activities since the beginning of the campaign, including fighter jet training, scuba diving, skydiving, hypoxia systems familiarization, mountaineering, zero-gravity flights, centrifuge runs, classroom training, philanthropic & academic outreach, air shows, rocket launches, and more, including their launch to space and return to Earth.This has resulted in a significant visual archive to share the Polaris Dawn story with the broader public and document the mission for history.

Traveled with the Inspiration4 astronauts to photograph training and preparations ahead of the first all-civilian mission to orbit on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon capsule.Participated in launch rehearsal and launch day operations, photographing crew during walkout, suit up, and transit to Launch Complex 39A.Managed space media assets captured by crew on-orbit. Interfaced with SpaceX, Inspiration4 team, and crew members to catalog and disseminate content within hours of splashdown.Trained crew to operate cameras for use on-orbit with written materials, video, and in-person instruction.Photographed fighter jet sorties to capture aerial imagery of jet formations, SpaceX’s Starbase launch site, SpaceX’s Launch Complex 39A, and cross-country movement of aircraft fleet.Worked with media teams across Inspiration4, SpaceX, TIME, Netflix, Shift4, and St. Jude to manage media assets and develop copy and content surrounding mission.Interfaced with SpaceX engineers for procurement and delivery of camera gear for integration with Dragon.
