This is a roto-gravure and flexographic printing plant servicing the food and pharmaceutical industries. Primary responsibilities include:- Preparation of monthly financial statements - Monthly forecasting and annual budget preparation- Conduct and supervise monthly 8 hour closing process utilizing ORACLE ERP - Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for the location- Conduct annual physical inventories- Initiated and manage an inventory cycle counting program- Developed and maintain plant performance metrics- Participated in productivity initiative program which improved plant profitability by over $1 million per month- Supervise cost accounting activities- Main plant contact for internal and outside auditors- Two direct reports- Report to Plant Manager, with dotted line responsibility to the VP-Finance of the Business Unit- Conduct monthly presentations of plant financial performance to plant and Business Unit managers
