These desktop applications using Bluetooth, GSM, and Satellite transmission methods to communicate with a remote embedded system. Accuracy and reliability of pig tracking has increased substantially with this technology. This has led to decreased costs and increased revenues for our company.I design, develop & maintain numerous AJAX-driven company websites and web-services using the following technologies: - .NET 2.0 & 4.0 (C#)- ASP.NET- javascript/jQuery- Transact-SQL with numerous SQL Server databases- Google/Bing/PayPal APIsI also write numerous utilities for our Integrity department to help them retrieve & process mountains of data to apply to their analysis. These utilities have saved substantial man-hours of work, freeing up the personnel for actual data analysis and reduced overtime commitments of the department.I am primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an industry-leading pig tracking web application that increases profit margins while simultaneously increasing the safety of the workers and reliability of the information being gathered. This system is called Armadillo Tracks LiveMap. This was a system developed and tested in-house, and is now available for use by all in the industry. As the Remote Tracking Manager, I am responsible for the Armadillo Tracks Remote Tracking solution at our company. We have developed the industry-changing Armadillo System at PureHM, and Remote Tracking is a large part of that system. Remote Tracking is an alternate method of tracking pigs -- we deploy hardware in the field ahead of pig runs and track safely from a secure centralized environment.I am the client-facing contact for all things Remote Tracking and am responsible for discussing our solution, responding to concerns and requests, and managing client expectations. Part of the role is also to discuss the strategy of our technical development and operation of our system to ensure our profit margins are maintained.I will be responsible for overseeing the systems & processes we have in place to ensure the greatest quality and consistency of work can be done on our tracking jobs, from job acceptance to the final report and invoicing. This will eventually include both conventional and remote tracking jobs to ensure quality and consistency.And finally, I am responsible for managing the logistics of of our equipment. Remote Tracking is an asset-heavy solution and as we grow, the management of handling all of our technology will need to be trackable and scalable if we are to succeed with the quality of service PureHM is known for.---In addition to this new position, I continue to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Armadillo Tracks solutions (see the entry for Senior Software Engineer below...)
