 Developed a safety and environmental department for VMSI. Helped with producing a policy book with all safety policy and guild lines for the company rules and policies. Produced all of VMSI safety guidelines, safety forms, safety training, safety check list, environmental policies and all environmental procedures to be ran in the company. Wrote new HSE plans for new rigs and vessels that entered the yard. Attended all safety meetings held on the rigs, or in the office, helped produce safe work scopes for new tasks that came up in the work area. Hired and trained all employees in the safety department.  Moved rigs around in the yard when needed. Did all jacking of the rigs that were key side at the yard. Worked and did service to jacking systems when needed for jacking operation. Assisted with ballast control operation for customer rigs that were key side at Versatile Marine Services and at other ship yards worldwide. Assisted with all rig load outs and off loads on heavy lifts state side or internationally.  Was sent out to the Gulf of Mexico to do startups on stacked rigs for our customers to prepare them for the rig move to VMSI yard or straight to the heavy lift for load out.
