Managed, planned and worked with team to implement new respiratory care system, including process and interfacing with other hospital systems. Performed weekly meetings and provided weekly status updates to Siemens and CAMC management and stakeholders. Led hospital’s technical implementation of new radiology information system, Cerner Millennium RadNet. Installed application and components across a farm of 30 different servers, including midrange UNIX backend for Oracle databases and a combination of physical and virtual Windows 2003 R2 Servers for various system frontend components. Planned and implemented migration of multiple small UNIX (AIX) servers to newer versions where appropriate and to Windows platform, where necessary, to coincide with new hospital system projects.Championed the planning of a new project to move multiple UNIX servers to a Virtualized UNIX environment. This would result in a more cost-effective midrange server farm by eliminating multiple hardware support agreements for obsolete servers.Created custom Thin-client HR Job Description application to fill a functional need that was missing from the standard HR system using ASP.NET technology.
