-Managing HIM Coding Review Product line. Tasked with key decision making regarding quality, productivity, and performance across all of RIS. Responsible for ensuring HIM product generates and hits expected revenue targets across our client base.-Overseeing RIS rules library for all products including Charge Capture, HIM Coding, and Denials management. Use KPIs to measure revenue generating performance against forecasted numbers. Trouble shooting for sites where rules are under performing-Assisting clients on ad hoc projects based on client needs including coding compliance, CDM maintenance, and denials management

• Identifying roughly $3.5 million in new revenue generating projects across 10 different hospital networks in fiscal year 2015. Ideas were created in various areas of revenue cycle including charge capture, pricing, denials/appeals, & HIM coding• Leading National Revenue Integrity HIM Coding Review team that delivered $2.3 million in new revenue for Ascension hospitals in fiscal year 2015. Additionally developed team structure, marketing materials, and processes that are now standard operating procedures for the HIM Coding Review team• Training and mentoring National Revenue Integrity analysts. Helping them through the on-boarding process and guiding them in the creation and implementation of new ideas. • Developing the Charge Capture teams true up process. Creating processes to find impact of revenue generating ideas against team’s initial estimations. Reporting this information to both the hospital system and to our charge capture teams. Helping charge capture teams fine-tune ideas when the actual revenue is below the estimated amounts.

•Running a variety of individually tailored daily, month end, and quarter end payment reports for both internal HHF departments and other external parties including various mortgage companies and the U.S. Treasury departments for all 10,000 + Illinois Hardest Hit Fund Borrowers•Overviewing new loans set up in our database, ensuring accurate data and correcting any errors in payment amounts that may have occurred while the file was being processed by our underwriting and closing teams.•Providing statistical analysis and data as requested by HHF compliance for borrowers participating in the Hardest Hit Fund Program.•Creating other customized ad hoc reports as requested by HHF customer service, IHDA Finance department, and U.S. Treasury

• Processed 900+ loan closing for the Illinois Hardest Hit Fund over a nine month period, closing between 90-110 loans a month• Oversaw title and property verifications for each loan closing. Searched for any discrepancies between the property information submitted the borrower for by examining tract searches, recapture agreements and other legal documentation • Worked with our legal team to create an official title and property verification reference list for different scenarios depending on the relation of the title holder to the applicant. This same reference list is still currently used by the HHF closing and Underwriting team members. • One of 4 original members of the HHF closing team who directly communicated relevant information and observations with HHF compliance and management helping to reduce the average file processing time• Followed up with sponsoring agencies to ensure that all loans are processed quickly and in compliance with U.S. treasury regulation
