Research under Dr. Brittany Jellison and Todd Stelling on the effects of ocean acidification on the behavior of juvenile American Lobsters:- Assisted in the collection and care of juvenile American lobsters.- Maintained and accurately measured key water chemistry parameters- Trained in using a spectrophotometer and YSI instrument- Assisted and conducted behavioral assays and their corresponding video analysis

I assisted professors one-on-one and over the phone to troubleshoot audio-visual equipment across UNH campuses as well as input service requests, equipment rentals, and special events support. Mainly, managing student supervisors to do the above correctly and technicians to deliver technology and provide aid to faculty promptly.

- Part time job I worked at when I was working at another restaurant and when I was a part of my internship- Helped make the main product of the company- Worked with the team that had to monitor and make the product perfectly to be sold- Worked with the public and involved them daily

- Worked as a service-learning student on a citizen-science project with NOAA through my high school. The project took place at Millbrook Meadow in Rockport, MA where I participated in counting young American Eels and taking water quality data at the pond in Millbrook Meadow from April to late October where I monitored the brook, looked for seasonal traits in the elver run, and considered environmental influences on elver movements in the brook. - Weekly I would count, capture, and relocate the elvers (young American Eels) to higher up in the watershed because the pond was going to be restored in the winter after relocation of all native species. Throughout the season, while checking traps I provided informal outreach to residents passing collection and release sites as well.- For three days over the fall I provided event leaders with support and acted as a peer leader working with other townsfolk and students from other high schools to help learn, document, and capture and relocate various other species after the elver run. This was done as a part of consideration for the Endangered Species Act because American Eels are a very mysterious species that were recently being considered for the act. - The data was collected and forwarded to the State of MA so they could consider applying it to the elver monitoring effort required by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission.
