Hello, my name is John Lander. I served as an Officer in the United States Navy. I was commissioned through OCS in December 2012. I reported to Pensacola, FL in 2013 to begin flight training. I completed Aviation Preflight Indoctrination in May 2013 and Joint Primary Pilot Training in April 2014. I flew the T-6B Texan II at NAS Whiting Field. I was then selected for Advanced Rotary training where I soloed in the TH-57B Sea Ranger. I left Advanced Rotary training as incomplete and now am in transition to return to civilian life in February 2015. My EAS (End of Active Service) was January 31, 2015. I separated from active duty with a Honorable Discharge. I will remain in the IRR ASP (Individual Ready Reserve Active Status Pool). My MSO (Military Service Obligation) was completed in February 2021. My highest rank earned was Lieutenant (O-3). I have worked in several different aviation fields since my return to civilian life. Everything ranging from Airport Operations, Air Traffic Control Procedures /Software Simulation testing, Aerial Survey flying, Flight Instruction, and Aviation Operations.
