Director of Marketing for a 110-person, national architecture practice serving markets in healthcare, senior living, education, and corporate office. I was initially recruited as a marketing manager to reinvent the marketing department of a quickly expanding firm under a marketing director who had recently returned after a two-year absence. At this time, the firm had only one office and although was a successful senior living designer, it was just on the verge of becoming a national leader in this market. I instituted new marketing practices, computerized all of the marketing materials including creating a client management system (CMS) database, created a logical filing system and, working with IT, provided new computer hardware and software including networked, high capacity color printing. I managed a department of four including two marketing coordinators, a marketing assistant and a graphic designer. I also managed the PR consultants.
