My responsibilities include: (1) Dataset management. We work with large-n datasets (up to 95,000 rows), primarily in Stata and Excel.(2) Analyzing data for both descriptive reports (for public consumption) and academic papers. (3) Writing descriptive reports, op-eds, and academic papers. (4) Supervising coders

Duties were primarily teaching: as a Teaching Assistant, or instructor of record. As a Teaching Assistant, I was assigned tor large lecture courses, where I taught three smaller (c. 20 students)forty-five minute recitations each week, wrote exams, and graded exams and papers. I was also assigned as instructor of record five times, where I had sole responsibility for the course.

I was responsible for analyzing bills of interest to the Institute, and sending these reports the Director of the Institute, who used this information when deciding whether or not to communicate with members of the Connecticut General Assembly. I was also responsible for tracking these bills through the legislature, and informing the director of their progress.
