Initially I was a deskside technician. I later progressed to the position of technical team lead for a team of 7 deskside technicians servicing Microsoft's European Operations and European Development Centre with a user base of 2600+ across the Dublin campus.I later joined the Regional Site Management team as an IT specialist supporting day to day operations of the site / Infrastructure support / event support and have been involved in many projects throughout the past several years.My duties include reporting directly to the IT Manager and covering as required. Working closely with Tier 3 groups and handling site wide issues and escalation for the Dublin campus. Delivery of new employee induction to an audience of 25+ people each week. Initially for the first Year I was a Deskside Engineer for GE Capital, and then was promoted to the role of Technical Team Lead responsible for the day to day operations of my team being a point of escalation for issue’s unresolved.
