• Manage day-to-day collection, transfer station and material recovery facility (MRF) operations.• Organize and schedule all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.• Participate in regular P&L reviews and ensure that budgets are met; develop and implement programs for optimal equipment utilization, equipment maintenance, labor and material costs.• Review weekly demand/volume and determine potential gains from re-routes and labor adjustments.• Work with functional group to resolve employee relations and labor relation issues.• Conduct thorough root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents, following up with consistent discipline and retraining.• Ensure adherence to facility best practices and processes by conducting regular auditing. • Ensure that the monthly facility inspection is completed and that the site remains compliant.
